This past Tuesday, March 11th, during the elections that day, the library held a bake sale at the town hall. Our table featured an informational trifold board, which advertised library groups and events, showed photos from recent activities and provided useful details like hours, contact information and the library’s mission statement. We also had placards and fliers available for the public, as well as a fabulously decorated donation box!
A variety of delectable goodies were on offer – including a blueberry cobbler that sold out in record time! We would like to thank everyone who made something for the sale, and particularly mention the library’s Fiber Arts group for its amazing response. The coffee, paper
products and cups were also all donated.
The sale was well-attended and proved to be a highly successful fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who monitored the sale, as well as Chief Hankard and Julie Lonergan, who helped with the count from our box. We hope everyone enjoyed the tasty treats!
