Borrowing, Renewing, and Requesting

Borrowing

Here is a link to our online catalog to search which items are at library.

The Sanbornton Public Library allows patrons to check out:

Books – 14 days

Movies – 7 days

Audiobooks – 14 days

We do not charge overdue fines, allowing our patrons to donate on the honor system. There are jars at the circulation desk for this purpose.

Renewals

Renewals are allowed if there are no holds on the item.  To renew, visit or call the library, or log in to your account in the library catalog.

Requests

To request an item that is checked out or on order, visit or call the library, or make an online request via the library catalog.

If you are looking for materials that are not available in our library catalog, you can make a purchase request or you can borrow them from other N.H. libraries through the Inter-Library Loan system.  New books and DVDs (published within 6 months) are generally not available to borrow if they are not also owned by the Sanbornton Public Library.  You may place an Inter-Library Loan by texting 603.207.4864 or calling the library.  You may also complete the Inter-Library Loan Request Form. Click on Resources and the Inter-Library Loan form.
