Holiday Open House

Join us for an open house at the library on Saturday, December 10th from 10-2 pm. There will be plenty of snacks and merriment. Story time for children is at 10:30 as well as drop in gingerbread house building from 11-1 pm. We will be selling tickets for our raffle and will draw the winners at 1 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Holiday Raffle Fundraiser

img_1407Help us raise money for a special event to kick off our children’s summer reading program with a chance to win an exciting basket filled with goodies donated by local businesses. There is a Snuggle Children’s basket, a Car Wash themed bucket and a Sweat Treat Basket. Tickets are on sale now through our open house on Saturday, December 10th. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Contact the library for more information, 286-8288.

Thank you for your support

Bingo for Books

bingoHey kids, on Wednesday Nov. 9th from 4:30-5:30, join us for Bingo for Books! Play BINGO and win books! Open to students ages 5-12. Everyone will leave with a free book. What a great way to start a long weekend.

Read-a-thon / Eat-a-thon

pizza-manTweens and teens ages 10-15 are invited to come to the library to read and eat on Thursday, October 6th from 5:30-7:30.

This is a time to enjoy a collective quiet reading time as well as a fun time to socialize with friends about books and more.

StoryWalk through the field

Read a book while walking around the town field behind the library. Our story is Duck on a Bike written and illustrated by David Shannon.

Seacoast Science Center brings tide pools to Sanbornton

Wednesday, August 3rd at 10am

Explore tide pools with real animals! This is the last Wednesday program for the summer. Celebration afterwards with with treats for the mind and stomach!

After the 3rd kids are still encouraged to continue to fill out their summer reading logs and keep their minds and bodies growing. Prizes will be awarded into the beginning of September. Seascoast Science Center photo
